OSHA updated the Hazard Communication Standard

OSHA's 2024 final rule updated 29 CFR 1910.1200, including hazard-classification criteria, labeling provisions, safety data sheet content and related definitions. The rule became effective July 19, 2024 and applies to employers whose workers are exposed to hazardous chemicals, including repair operations that use covered solvents, coatings, cleaners, fuels or other shop chemicals.
