Alert signups
If you request alerts, we store your email address, selected jurisdiction, shop type, confirmation state and related subscription preferences so we can match and deliver updates.
Pro billing
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Repair Shop Alerts stores the Stripe customer and subscription references needed to activate Pro and provide billing access; payment-card details are handled by Stripe.
Email delivery
We use an email delivery provider for confirmations, alerts, recaps and billing-access messages. Delivery identifiers and send status may be retained to prevent duplicates, troubleshoot failures and honor unsubscribe requests.
Site analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic and basic product interactions. We do not intentionally send email addresses, subscriber IDs or free-form regulatory source text to analytics.
Campaign attribution
When you arrive through a tagged marketing link or advertising click, we may store limited campaign information such as source, medium, campaign name and advertising click identifiers in your browser for up to 30 days. If you start a paid checkout, that limited attribution data may also be attached to Stripe checkout or subscription metadata so we can understand which marketing led to a subscription. We do not put your email address or name into these campaign-attribution fields.
No sale of signup data
We do not sell subscriber information or use alert-signup data for behavioral advertising. Alert-signup information is used to send the confirmations, recaps, alerts, deadline reminders and account or billing-access messages tied to the service you requested. We do not use alert signups to send unrelated third-party promotions.
