Pennsylvania raised the initial safety-inspector certification passing score to 80%

PennDOT changed the passing percentage for Initial Vehicle Safety Inspector Certification and Enhanced Vehicle Safety Inspection Inspector Certification from 70% to 80% effective July 1, 2025. The change applies to students taking those exams on or after that date.
