Rhode Island ADAS certification rules took effect for covered auto body technicians October 29

Rhode Island's amendment to 230-RICR-30-05-2 became effective October 29, 2026. It added ADAS technician certification, increasing covered certification categories from seven to eight. Limited Heavy Truck and Limited Paint, Restoration, and Customization licenses remain exempt from the ADAS requirement.
