EPA updated HFO-1234yf rules for nonroad MVAC systems and small-can fittings

EPA listed HFO-1234yf as acceptable subject to use conditions for certain newly manufactured nonroad vehicle MVAC systems, updated incorporated SAE safety standards, and required unique fittings for small R-1234yf refrigerant cans. The rule took effect June 3, 2022.
