Alaska required warranty time allowances at least equal to independent labor guides

HB 233 (Chapter 20, SLA 2024), effective October 27, 2024, amended AS 45.25.210. Unless the dealer agrees otherwise, manufacturers' warranty compensation schedules may not use labor rates below the dealer's retail non-warranty rate or time allowances below those in independent labor time guides. The act was declared remedial and applies to all franchise agreements.
