South Carolina rewrote dealer warranty and recall reimbursement rules

2021 Act No. 31 (S.510) rewrote S.C. Code 56-15-60, effective August 4, 2021. Warranty parts and labor must be paid at no less than the dealer's rates to non-warranty customers, manufacturers cannot recover warranty costs through surcharges, and dealers get compensation for used vehicles held under stop-sale recalls.
