Minnesota based warranty labor pay on the dealer's own time guide

2023 Minn. Laws ch. 57, art. 4, sec. 4, effective October 1, 2023, amended Minn. Stat. 80E.041, subd. 4. Warranty labor must be paid at the dealer's effective non-warranty labor rate multiplied by the time guide the dealer uses for customer-pay work, instead of manufacturer time allowances. Where no time guide exists, actual time applies. Compensation must include all diagnostic time, including time spent with manufacturer technical assistance.
